Located in the culturally rich region of Fingeshwar, the college plays a significant role in shaping the future of students from rural and semi-urban backgrounds. It is located approximately 56 k.m. away from the district headquarters Gariyaband. Fanikeshwar Nath Govt. College Fingeshwar, Dist. Gariyaband (C.G.) was established on 4th July 2013 in the building of Thakur Dalganjan Singh Govt. Boys higher secondary school Fingeshwar. The college shifted to its new building in January 2017 with all the faculties of Courses: B.A., B.Sc., B.com. Here, M. Sc. (Chemistry), M.A. (Geography) and B.Sc. Mathematics class started in the year 2019.

It has well-maintained and spacious classrooms that facilitate effective teaching and learning. This is a co-educational college that caters to the needs of students of Fingeshwar and nearby rural areas. Various committees, clubs, and departments organize a variety of competitions, extension lectures, expert talks, cultural events, the celebration of significant days, etc. Every year, students of the college represent the college at the district level, university level, and state level in Academics, Sports, NSS and Cultural programs, etc. Even during lockdown the teachers had been meeting online classes via digital platforms and have been constantly in touch with the students through WhatsApp groups, emails, video-audio calls, etc.
