  • Fanikeshwar Nath Govt. College, Fingeshwar was established in 2013. Since then, Physics has been taught as one of the subjects. In 2017, when the college was shifted to its present building, a well-equipped laboratory of Physics came into existence.
  • There is 01 sanctioned post for the faculty of Physics , which is for an assistant professor.
  • There is 01 lab attendant working in this department.
  • The teaching and learning process is through PowerPoint presentation, by overhead projectors and also through conventional chalk and black board.
  • The department has a well-equipped laboratory, a herbarium collection, a botanical garden (naming of the plants in the botanical garden) with a green house.
  • The Physics  Laboratory of our institution is a well-equipped and dynamic space designed to support practical learning and scientific exploration in plant sciences.
  • It provides students with hands-on experience in areas such as Mechanics, Electronics, Thermodynamics, Optics, . Fluid Dynamics and Opto Electronic Device. The laboratory is furnished with modern instruments, Spectromiteres,Optical Benz, Vernier calipers, Screw Gauge, Prisms Lenses, Calorimeter. facilitate effective experimentation and observation.
  • A rich collection of charts, and models further enhances the learning process.
  • A properly equipped and well-organized dark room is available in the Physics Laboratory.
  • The lab environment encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and research-oriented learning among students. Under the guidance of experienced faculty, students gain practical skills and scientific temperament essential for academic and professional growth in the field of Physical sciences.
  • The Department of Physics actively engages students through a variety of academic and practical activities, including seminars, assignments, and model-making projects. Students are encouraged to participate in field visits .
