CIA (Continuous Internal Assessment)

Weightage:- CIA carries 30% of the total marks the remaining 70% is allotted to the "End Semester Examination (ESE)"
Regular Students:

 Unit Test/Quiz – 20 Marks(Best of two tests considered)
 Assignment – 5 Marks
  Attendance – 5 Marks
 

Non-Collegiate Students

  Unit Test/Quiz – 20 Marks (Best of two tests considered)
  Assignment – 10 Marks
Attendance Marks (5 Marks) :-

   ≤75% – Marks
   76–80% – 1 Mark
   81–85% – 2 Marks
  86–90% – 3 Marks
  91–95% – 4 Marks
   ≥96% – 5 Marks

•  Evaluated answer scripts are shown to students for verification.
• CIA marks are displayed within 15 days of completion or before the commencement of the ESE.
• The CIA schedule is announced at the beginning of the semester and tests are conducted at regular intervals.
• Examination Committee oversee the CIA process.
• Objective-type questions (MCQs, True/False, Assertion–Reason, One-liner, etc.) as prescribed by the university.
