National Service Scheme (NSS)

  • The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the college aims to develop the personality of students through community service and social responsibility.
  • It provides students with opportunities to engage in meaningful social work and contribute to nation-building.
  • The NSS unit organizes various activities such as cleanliness drives, tree plantation, health awareness camps, blood donation camps, and rural development programs.
  • Special camps are conducted annually in nearby villages to promote community participation and address local issues.
  • NSS volunteers actively participate in national programs like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, environmental conservation, and voter awareness campaigns.
  • The unit encourages leadership qualities, teamwork, and a sense of discipline among students.
  •  It helps students understand social realities and develop empathy towards underprivileged communities.
  • Participation in NSS enhances students’ overall personality and prepares them to become responsible citizens.
  • Certificates and recognition are provided to volunteers based on their active involvement and contribution.
  • The University has been allocated 100 volunteers in the National Service Scheme Unit of the Fanikeshwar Nath Govt. College, Fingeshwar, Gariyaband, Chhattisgarh. 
  • Dr. Devadas Banjare Asst. Prof. (Sociology) is the Program Officer for NSS Unit in our college.
